The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Warriors Table

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with deep backstory, a diverse cast of characters, and a thrilling plot showcasing celestial beings, fiends, and malevolent powers increasing in strength within the urban setting.

Heads-up: Key plot points for the latest installment of this adventure follow below.

The Warrior Group Revealed

The latest chapter finished on a huge suspense moment and revealed the premier party of heroes who will split off from the primary party to undertake their independent quest, distinct from the remaining groups.

The combat-focused team consists of the determined fighter (played by Travis Willingham), the agile character (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), the cleric (the player), and Kattigan Vale (the actor).

Dividing the Cast

Given a large ensemble, it was evident from the outset that keeping everyone at the same party would be unfeasible.

That’s why, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Overture, connecting the personal journeys before dividing into three separate parties: Fighters, Planners, and Questers.

Characteristics of the Warrior Group

According to the Dungeon Master, the warrior group is for players who are drawn to a traditionally charged battle-oriented story mode where non-violent answers are scarce.

At first glance, characters like the hesitant healer the cleric might look unsuited, but the actions of the third episode demonstrate why these specific adventurers are best suited for the combat party.

Reasons to Leave

For one thing, the team has a clear idea where to head next after a violent opening clash with the enemy group.

An old friend of the deceased character—whose passing initiated the campaign’s events—manipulated the foes for his own means, entering Thjazi’s hideout, assaulting the character, and swiping all the enchanted items to sell off.

Casimir then paid off his debts and escaped to a secure base in Gormalay, Timmony, above Dol-Makjar, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each adventurer has a specific drive to leave the city the metropolitan area:

  • The rogue, as the close ally and closest confidant, wants vengeance.
  • Kattigan knows Timmony and warns that it is a dangerous location.
  • Tyranny and The cleric, having defied his house’s orders to eliminate the target and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
  • Yet, their position as key figures in the powerful family could enable the team reach locations they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Furthermore, Teor swore a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his salvation and will now go with him everywhere.

Fugitives

Finally, all of them are wanted by the powers that control the setting for a multiple motives, making staying in the city no longer safe:

  • The rogue and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The strong figure and Wicander turned against the influential house and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
  • The target is marked for death by the clan.

This leaves them few options but to head to the remote area in search of the traitor.

What’s Next?

From episode three’s post-show segment, we find out that the warrior group will be absent next week, leaving the remaining eight cast members to assemble the Explorers and Planners parties.

Viewers can expect discovering which characters will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, streaming live on October 24.
